Chemical peels

Light to medium peels, built up gradually across a series your skin can handle.

A chemical peel is a measured layer of acid (glycolic, lactic, or salicylic) applied for a few minutes to lift away the dead outer layer of skin and prompt the layers underneath to renew faster. We start conservative: a lighter peel first, then stronger ones over a series once we know how your skin responds.

Peels do their best work as a series through fall and winter, when your skin is not fighting daily sun. Expect mild tightness the first day and light flaking for three to five days on medium peels. You will need to be honest about sunscreen, because a peel without daily SPF afterward is money wasted.

What this includes

  • glycolic acid peel
  • salicylic acid peel
  • lactic acid peel
  • Uneven tone and dark marks after breakouts
  • Fine lines around the eyes and mouth
  • Rough, sun-damaged texture
